Turkish Marzipan Recipe

Serves: 4 - 6 person Cooking Time: - Preparation: 20 minute

for Turkish Marzipan Recipe Ingredients

  1. 750 ml ground almonds
  2. 874 ml sugar
  3. 750 ml water
  4. 10 ml lemonjuice

Preparation of Turkish Marzipan Recipe

  1. Combine the sugar and water over together in a saucepan.
  2. Boil until the synıp has thickened. Stir occasionally.
  3. When the synıp begins to darken add the lemon juice.
  4. Test the synıp in a little water – the syrup should not spread in the water.
  5. Remove from the heat.
  6. Leave to cool.
  7. Beat the syrup mixture with an electric beater.
  8. Once the mixture has stiffened and is white add the ground almonds.
  9. Place the dough onto a marble countertop.
  10. Roll the dough into small rolk about a centimetre long.
