Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt
  • 1 cucumber
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • dill or mint
  • salt pepper

Instructions

  • Grate and drain cucumber
  • Mix yogurt and base ingredients
  • Add cucumber
  • Season and adjust consistency
  • Chill before serving

Notes:

  • Drain cucumber well and chill before serving for best flavor and texture.

Notes

Drain the cucumber thoroughly to prevent a watery consistency. For best flavor, chill the cacık for at least 30 minutes before serving. Adjust the thickness by adding cold water gradually, depending on whether you prefer it as a dip or a lighter, soup-style dish.
